Every classic piece of literature should have a site as nice as Gulliver's Travels.... a wonderful resource which includes the full text with amplifying links, a timeline, dictionary, collection of Swift quotes, all sorts of relevant illustrations, and more. Another example of what can happen when intelligence and enthusiasm get together on the web. Highly recommended.

the history of education site
This excellent online version of the 1726 edition of Jonathan Swift's Gulliver's Travels . . . includes Swift's description of the "Academy of Lagado" in "Balnibarbi", which can be considered a highly satirical critique of early-18th century university teaching:
Webliography English And Theatre Department, Berea College

EuroNetizen November, 1998
For most of us, it's just a book or a film. For librarian Lee Jaffe, however, it seems to be an obsession. On this Site, you'll find the text of the 1726 Motte edition with corrections from the 1735 Faulkner edition. There are also extensive links to supplementary sources, and everything else that a Swift student or fan could wish for.
SchoolZone
English Fans of Gulliver's travels and the satire of Swift will love this site which looks at the authors life and works.
